Great Katana Maintainance Kit

Great kit for katana maintainance. It is true for some reviews that the oil bottle was opened and all of the oil was gone. I almost returned it because the oil bottle is useless but I emailed them to address the issue and they solve it pretty quick. The new oil bottle were sent shortly after so everything is good now. Glad that they able to fix the issue because overall this is a great kit with a reasonable price.

Decent. The box for the sharpening stone was broke but wood glue fixed it. The choji oil bottle was 2/3 full so it was still a good amount. However the bottle was leaking, after feeling the outside it was oily so it was not sealed well enough. Used 2-day shipping if it were longer I most likely would have had less oil from it leaking. Overall good the sharpening stone was in great condition and everything came in decent condition.

wow neat its just what I needed to care for sword .the stone is bigger than I thought.. that's great.. the box's are the standard for these things I like...

Good kit overall. I like the dual sided whetstone. The oil seems to smell more like gun/machine oil than Choji oil so it a little suspect. Only real issue I have with this is the boxes are made of a very thin lightweight wood. And because of that the back end of one of the boxes broke off too easily.

Yes, the choji container leaked and oil was absorbed into wooden case. Yes, it's made in China. Yes, a whet stone comes with kit (as pictured) and yes, a little disappointed, but not surprised. It's serviceable.
