I got this as a final touch up for my tall leather boots I wear when showing horses. Dust collect quickly and it's easy to scuff your boots after cleaning them the night before.
I usually use kiwi polish but using that as a last minute touch up isn't really feasible.
This "magic shine" was very thin, and the sponge is so soft that when you press the applicator on your boot, the sponge squishes and you can easily scratch your boot with the plastic casing surrounding the sponge. After wiping on one tall boot, it lost efficacy. I ended up adding some of my kiwi polish to the sponge.
Magic shine, in my opinion, works only slightly better than a damp rag as a last minute touch up.
