So happy with these racks, exactly what I needed for my Porsche since there are no rails. Its made out of the best materials so it does not scratch paint and I am 100% confident these boards will stay on at high speeds! Plus a extra perk is i can use these to transport other things on my roof! WIN!

Prompt shipment and well-made product. I purchased this to transport a Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) or surfboard on my bare roof 4 door sedan. I did not want to invest a lot of money or have a permanent rack. I liked the reviews. I have used the rack 4 times. This morning, it carried two stacked SUPs without any issues or concerns. A friend came along who has a permanent Thule system on her SUV. She too was impressed with my soft rack system and its convenience. I am a short, older female and had no problem setting up the rack or removing it on my own. I love the numbering and arrows on the buckles that show the 1, 2, and 3 steps for securing and tightening (very user friendly!). I usually drive under 10 miles to the ocean and have not exceeded 55 mph. I'm not afraid to with this rack, but just haven't needed to do so. Please note that this product does not come with the tie down straps for the boards; only straps for the rack itself. I purchased separately anchors for nose and tail tie downs for hood and trunk and two straps to wrap over the board(s). No issues with slipping, sliding or vibrating noises. Very pleased with the purchase. I would highly-recommend as an inexpensive alternative to other roof racks (total investment under $100).

The straps are great! My complaint is the padding isn't thick enough. I had to wrap another set of padding around these in order to life the middle of the paddle board from touching my roof. If you have a car that's pretty flat on top you won't have a problem. I have a Nissan Sentra and it has a curve on the roof and it just wasn't thick enough. I decided to keep them so long as I use the entrance padding to put over it (the type that you Velcro straight onto hard roof racks).

These racks work great. I have an 11 foot board that I need to strap to my Toyota Corolla (big board on little car), and I was worried that these wouldn't be secure enough. However, the straps are easy to tie down and the board feels really secure while driving. I don't need to transport the board far, so I only got up to about 40 mph, but I'm confident they could handle faster speeds.
