Best quite check value. Used by my professional plumbing service, and awesome that I can now pick it up on Amazon. It's a little pricey, but considering how often you need to put it a check value, it's a small price to pay. The top and bottom are threaded, so disconnecting pipes is super easy. It's great to help with easy access into the sump pit, which helps if you ever need to do maintenance or replace the pumps. NOTHING leaks below this check value. I just replaced my backup pump and did not have a drop of water coming from the pipes where I disconnected below this value. It's also super quite. It's very reliable as well. I've had two in my basement for 10 years and only recently had to replace one that failed. Its very easy to replace on a DIY basis as well given the screw on connections top and bottom.

I had no idea this even existed until I started researching what good brand zoeller pumps are, this valve makes my old valve sound like it was in pain. U should hear the zoeller pumps too...if u can..now all I can hear is whatever splashing the water can make going thru
