Wonderful

The zipper was broken when it arrived. Customer Service was EXCELLENT. They immediately sent out a new bag, hassle free. Unfortunately, my laptop did not fit in the compartment of the new replacement bag, very strange, because it fit perfect in the original one. My laptop is 12". I could not even squeeze it into the compartment: no go. I was very disappointed with management's response to the second problem: no assistance outside of a refund. I was very disappointed because I loved the design of the bag! It was stylish, well organized and had the ability to lock the laptop compartment. The measurements may be off. My search for a beautiful and functional laptop bag continues....

I'm able to fit everything I need on the go. Lots of pockets which is a plus. The laptop pocket is the perfect size for my macbook air 11.6 probably not good for larger laptops. It's a very durable bag. I'm really glad I bought it.

I recently returned a McKlein Lake Forest series bag that was touted as great, and I found the design to be lacking function for day to day use-- especially for the Chicago region. I am so glad I did, and tried this Jill-E bag. It has all the function the McKlein lacked. The main zipper covers the entire main compartment (go figure?). The short tote straps actually fit on the shoulder. (its tight, but secure). The longer strap can go from short to long enough for cross body wear (over a wool coat). The key ring and ID features are in the main compartment (much safer for a commuter). It looks very stylish, and smells great. The bag is softer leather. If it holds up to wear and tear, it is just about perfect. It is just about the same size and weight as the other one. The downside, it cost about $100.00 more. Make the investment -spend the money and get a bag you can use and you are happy with. I cannot wait to take this out tomorrow. I love it!
