Bought this game as a Christmas gift for my daughter who turned 3 in March 2018. She loved playing with all the pieces back in December and since then has learned how to use the "recipe cards" to follow the directions and correctly assemble each cupcake according to each card. It does take a little finesse for little hands to get the pieces to fit properly together, but it is nothing too difficult. My 18 month old son also likes pulling the cupcake pieces apart. We gave it to a friend's 3 year old for her birthday, and I constantly hear about how much her daughter loves the game too. Since there are a number of small pieces, I highly recommend close supervision, but this is a great game for little ones!

Super cute game for my princess loving 3 year old daughter. I love that the directions are simple and easy to follow. Some of the cupcake pieces are a little hard to put together, but I suspect with time they will ease into their respective spots better. My daughter loves to just play with the cupcakes on her own and not necessarily follow the rules. I would definitely recommend this as a "first game" for a preschooler.

I actually like this game a lot. If you're an adult and your child asks you to play a game with them, it can be pretty painful to play one that is not even the slightest bit entertaining. This one I don't mind playing at all. The customer service is awesome because they will send you replacement pieces at no charge.

Fun for just about any ages. It's Disney princesses so little girls love the theme. The rules are simple and don't really have to be followed by younger players. Even the young ones know how to build a cupcake. The components are colorful and have a nice feel. Just be warned that some of them are small, but make sure your young ones know not to put the pieces in their mouth, or play with them to ensure they don't.

This was a last minute purchase to use as an added game for my granddaughter's 4th birthday party, and it was the biggest hit of the day! The party goers were 4 and 5 years old and they kept wanting to play it over and over and, after the games were done, they had fun making their own cupcake designs and trading them with one another. The pieces are well made and fit together nicely, but the 4 year old needed a little help getting a couple of the pieces together. I used a plastic Tupperware round divider tray (it has five dividers and is normally used as a veggie tray) to separate the pieces and make it easier for the kids to find the toppers. frosting, cakes, and bottoms. Then when packing the game back up, I kept the cupcakes still in their constructed form and put them in a Ziploc bag to help prevent losing the pieces. The toppers are really tiny and would be very easy to lose. This was a great find and the kids want to play it whenever they come over to visit!
