I have been trying to find a pump to use on a fountain that is made from stacked old water containers that my daughter had bought me a couple years ago. The original pump and piping wa 1/4" wide line. The first pump I bought lacked the strength to pump water through it. This one has more than enough strength to pump water through a 1/4" line to a height of five feet. Love that my fountain is finally working again.

The fitting for the 1/4" is off. It seems to go on the inside versus the outside. But even then, it's not flush.

After trying a number of other pumps for a fountain I bought a couple years ago, this one REALLY works and I am going to buy another one. My fountain only has a 1/4 tube to supply the pump, so its hard to find one that really delivers the performance I am looking for, but this definitely does the job!!!
