Is a great addition to alfredo sauces. Placed a few spoonfuls in a bowl with water and microwaved to rehydrate. Easier than fresh and frozen spinach.
Eating Veggies is Hard

Because getting your family to eat enough vegetables is hard.
Some people love vegetables. For me, it's a challenge to get enough vegetables into my family's diet.
I've tried sneaking fresh spinach into their food and that was a colossal failure. My husband in particular will take the time to pick the pieces off of the sandwich that I tried to hide it in with the lettuce.
The great part about this dried spinach is that when I put it in the food people just assume that I went a bit heavy on the parsley. It makes it pretty easy to put in everything. I've added it to soups, burgers ... even those velveeta hamburger helper things. I've not had one complaint yet!
I love the product. It tastes fresh and natural and is super easy to use.
You can taste it if you put a lot in, so I usually only add a couple Tablespoons here and there. Per the package, 1/2 cup dried = 1 cup reconstituted. This was a little nebulous to me as to what would actually equal a serving per the FDA guidelines for veggie servings.
1 cup of fresh spinach is a serving per the FDA, but frsh is fluffy. There is 7 calories in 1 cup of fresh spinach and about 40 in 1 cup of cooked spinach. So, I use those guidelines in determining how much of this would technically equal a serving of vegetables. The label says there is 350 calories in the full jar.
Even if you can't sneak in a full serving, I think any little bit helps.

i use these in soup/ramen very convienant. i know its great to use fresh veggies but sometimes we run out and want something quick and this definetly does it for us. very high quality. i have the onions, the spinach and the mixed soup veg and they work very well. we have extras put back for emergencies too
