I was worried when I received this because the box was damaged in places. When I opened it, however, I inspected every piece thoroughly and found no damage whatsoever, not even a scratch. The box had clearly been thrown around so the packaging was effective. It also came two days earlier than I was expecting. As far as assembly goes, it took me under two hours to put it together by myself and I have very little experience building things. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, all the parts and hardware (some extra) were included and clearly labeled, and all the holes, bolts and screws were lined up perfectly. The only extra tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the product is advertised as "wood." The material is MDF and laminate, not a hardwood like I was expecting. It has the appearance of wood and looks decent enough, but when you touch it you can tell it's a cheaper material. This probably seems petty considering the price, but I just wanted other people to be aware. It seems sturdy so far, but I'm not sure how well it will hold up to normal wear and tear because I just got it.

Overall I'm happy with this purchase and would buy from this company again.

Edit: After 3 months this has held up quite well. A few of the stickers covering the screws have fallen off but other than that it still looks new and is very easy to clean.

I purchased this because of the great reviews. The color and look was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, this product is made of very cheap materials. Looks great, but would not purchase again. I planned on using straps to stabilize television to the entertainment center. The back is not strong enough to hold the straps securely, it is made of very cheap particleboard. The description stated this was made of high grade materials. It is not; and I highly recommend purchasing a small tube of wood glue for additional security. After assembly, it fell apart and a friend used more glue in some places and secured the back and sides with extra screws/nails. Lastly, if you are a visual person you should do well with the directions. If you prefer text, then purchase another product. There are NO words with the directions. Nada. Just pictures. You get what you pay for, yet I have not had to make this sort of purchase in a while, so I am a bit behind times. When the stand is completed, it LOOKS good, but if you want something to last, again, make another purchase.

I looked at reviews beforehand and saw the complaints about running out of the wood glue before the assembly was done, so I had already purchased some extra before I started. It was a good thing I did because I definitely would have run out, so that's something to keep in mind.

I consider myself pretty handy, so the assembly wasn't that bad. It took a little over an hour, hour and a half to get finished. One drawback that others may dislike, the stickers that are designed to go over the screws to hide them look great and would conceal them nicely, if only they actually stuck. I opted to just throw them out, and I still think it looks fine. The screws are on the inside of the shelves, so it's dark in there and they're hard to see anyway.

All in all, it's a nice entertainment center, especially for the price. I think it looks nice in my living room.

This tv stand with mount worked out perfect. Yes it was heavy. Yes it took all afternoon to build, but I love it. Now my tv is a 65" Samsung and look how well it looks mounted on the attached stand. The shelves below hold all of my components. The espresso color works well with our furniture. I would buy again.

Well, this was a disaster.

I'm not one to turn my nose at cheap, put it together yourself furniture. I love it, I really do. This, however, was the worst experience I've ever had. The included screws, bolts, wood pieces, etc. were so weak that the screws stripped immediately upon beginning to tighten and the cam locks split into two or three pieces when tightened. The wood split in so many places.

It sure did look nice coming out the box. The materials included are sub par, however, and, I can only imagine, dangerous. Promptly returned for a refund from Amazon.
