Dependable locking cable

I have purchased this product in the past. Now I needed more and with the set of 4 with the same key, it will make it a lot easier. This is a great product. The mechanism works great even after being out in the weather for two years. It doesn't get stuck and the key is goes in and out easily.
Not as advertised.

Great product for locking my trail camera to a tree......but.....i ordered the 2 pack that was advertised as being KEYED ALIKE, and to my disappointment, they were not. I received 2 locks and 2 separate sets of keys. If I didn't need them this weekend, I would send them back.

Purchased two keyed alike, Keys do not easily insert as outer chromed disc moves independently of the key cylinder. Also, in freezing temps the plastic gets so hard that you can pull the cable out with little effort. They are merely a DETERRENT, NOT TOTAL SECURITY, BE AWARE! The average person in the woods is just an opportunistic thief and does not carry cable cutters....but an axe easily cuts the cable.
Great Product and Great Seller

Great Product and Great Seller. I ordered a Set of 3, a few weeks, ago, and have enjoyed them so well, that I contacted the Seller, this week, for a Set of 4 more that will all have keys that will also fit my original Set of 3.. He responded instantly, and was able to find another set of these cable locks that have the same type number key as my original order. Very pleased that these are on their way ! We use these for trail cameras, and at least one of the new ones ordered will be for use with a Rhino boat w/trailer. I feel more secure having these locks on the trail cameras. So far, I have been able to place these trail cameras undetected by trespassers and thieves. I read one review about a man who used them and a thief cut through them and stole whatever he wanted....sorry to hear that! Just shows what the world is coming to, and if someone wants to steal something badly enough, they will!
Locks for the honest

I purchased these to secure things such as my trail cameras, my tree stand, and a little more security for my spare tire on my trailer. By no fault of the locks, the cable does not fit through the holes on my trail cams, so that idea was out. The other two ideas will still work. However, while installing the locks, I came across the fact that the pivot point on the cable appeared plastic. I was hoping that the plastic was just a coating, but I don't think it is. It scratches like plastic, sounds like plastic, light weight like plastic, so I'm going with plastic. It doesn't matter how well any other part is built. It can only be as strong as the weakest point. I'll still use them where I can, but it goes back to the saying that "locks are to keep honest people honest", they won't stop a thief.
