Good mobile fence for metal tool tops
S. Farrell•July 22, 2017
The fence I received is dead flat across its length and the magnetic "clamps" work smoothly. I didn't rate this a full 5 stars because although the magnets hold very tightly to the table, the fence *will* slip across the table surface if you provide sufficient pressure against it. If your application is mostly rip cuts parallel to the fence, this may not be much of an issue. For me, I wanted to use this as a resaw fence for my bandsaw which didn't come with one. I will probably back this fence up with a clamp behind it to prevent it from moving when resawing thicker lumber.

This works as advertised, and per some of the reviews written here, the product exceeds my expectations.
The fence does not move even when a large force is exerted on it. I can push on the fence and a couple legs on the base will come off the ground before the fence moves. I have a 170lb unit
The fence IS square to the table. I was a little weary the first time I used it. I had put the fence next to the saw blade, and noticed about a .015" gap at the bottom of the fence. I knew by blade was square to the table. Once I engaged the magnets, the fence became parallel to the blade.
Very easy to use and line up straight, which was an initial concern

I was skeptical of it but it doesn't move when mounted on my bandsaw table and with the faster alignment tools used with it, I am getting great cuts from my saww
