This did not work out for me. The CD would skip after about a minute, it would come back to where it skipped from. The bass feature did not seam to work. The display for tape was not working and the tape auto stop does not work on this one. I am pleased that Amazon made it easy for me to get a replacement. I hope the next one works out. It is cheap made but it is a good price for all these features and the sound is good.

A Piece of Crap

Bought the unit in February. 3 weeks later the cassette player started eating tapes . Returned it for a replacement. The CD player on the second unit went out after 2 months.
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I won't be buying a third unit.

It is a good buy. I like this player. But the off on button is not user friendly.
then I cannot play my favorite station because it does not have the capability

You have to be a computer genius or a three year old to figure it out...It took me one hour to put together and two (yes 2) hours to figure out how to turn the radio on; then I cannot play my favorite station because it does not have the capability. I AM FURIOUS!
Where's the sound?

Disappointed with the sound/volume. This is NOT a boom box. Nothing BOOMS out of this. Get a few feet away and you can't hear it.I do like the three-part system. Put it all together (just follow the directions) -- console and 2 speakers -- and use it as a single unit. Or detach the speakers (follow the directions) and create more of a surround sound effect...except this sound isn't loud. Worried that it would be cheaply made but satisfied with the quality...minus the lack of volume.
