Slim and Discrete. Peace of mind protection.

This version of the BumpShox is exactly what I wanted. The other models are just way to bulky for me. Right now it gives me a little bit of peace of mind but only time will tell. In Pennsylvania we don't require from license plates so I opted to leave it empty. Looks good and is discrete. Note: my picture are of a freshly painted bumper. Before this my bumper has chipped in the center from others trying to park. Hopefully this product helps cut down on that this time around.

This is really good.I like how the ends r a little thicker n bow out to give a more cushion for when someone backs into me.It is that nice and decent thickness and totally flexible like the ad shows it to be.A big plus.The best part is that little extended flap on top of the frame that covers the painted body part between the plate and the grill.Bad part.It doesn't come like the others that have the actual pocket for the plate to slide into.It would be really nice and offer more protection between the plate and my bumper.I had to put the dealer advertisement thin plastic plate that was used to protect my plate from scratching my paint bumper.So I had to reuse it again due to their being No rubber pocket to slide my plate into it.If it had that this thing would b 100 !! Percent Perfect.Minor problem..the screws supplied with it are to short.So except for the prior stuff it's really nice.

Awesome product. The screws that came with this product were just right. All I did was remove the old frame and replaced it with the BumpShox and was on my way. Love this product. It could've been a little thicker, but I do understand that this is a 2.0 version. It does make the car look "tough" but yet looks discreet. This product was supper important to me because I park on NYC streets and you never know what kind of person might park behind or ahead of you.

This is still going strong after a couple years. The price was low when I bought it, and my car is parked in Queens, NYC pretty often. I'm sure the front of my car gets bumped as frequently as the rear, but the difference is that my back bumper is covered in small scratches and chips whereas my front bumper still has none. The protector still looks as good as new, with no warping or color fading.

If you are looking to protect your front bumper from those people who clearly obtained their Drivers License from a Cracker Jack Box, who seem to be unable to avoid your 3 thousand pound baby when they park, then this should help do the trick. Your front edges are still susceptible so their is nothing you can do about that of course. The reason that I'm giving it a 4 star is because It doesn't seem to play well with front parking sensors. My BMW 3 series warning goes off all the time, had to change to a smaller version of this. Wish there was a warning that it might make your sensors go off.
