Only place I've been able to find just White Cornmeal, do not like a mix prefer to add my own baking soda, baking powder and salt that my recipe calls for.

Haven't used it yet, but I've always loved the flavor of Indian Head Corn meal, but for the price! Not worth it!

For this price of this it was worth it. It has the grittiness that was described and the flavor was good. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it looked like it had spilled during the transit

Maybe I'm a cooking nerd, but I really believe stone ground cornmeal makes a difference. The taste is better, the texture is better. When I lived near a grist mill in the North East, I had the pleasure of buying directly from the mill. If you're lucky enough to live near one, give yourself a real treat and go there. Learn about stone grinding and you'll never buy anything else.

I bought white corn meal because I'm from the South, and that's just what we used. It's a bit finer than yellow, but I buy as much yellow as I do white these days. I left the South in 1980, and to my great surprise, there are many many differences. Not only in corn meal, but in life! Explore your options and embrace the differences! Don't get stuck in a rut. Just sayin'.
