Not really pleased with these brackets, since they only reduced the noise made by our 14K Equalizer hitch a little - people can still hear us from 100 yards away when we turn our trailer. The only "plus" I can see with these bracket jackets is that they might reduce wear of the top of the sway bar brackets.

They are very good at quieting down a Equal-i-zer hitch. Does not silence it but cuts most of the softer pops and squeaks but will every now and then let out a very loud pop.

Pads work great! Slight coat of grease on the top of the pad will stop any groaning or creaking and hasn't effected the away control of the hitch at all. I'll get a new set of these ever wear out, seems like that may take a very long time...
Noise is Terrible!

Just completed a trip from Indiana back to California with our new Rockwood V lite travel trailer. The new Equalizer hitch worked well for load and sway control, but the noise was terrible and got us lots of looks with people covering their ears as we pulled in and out of trailer parks. I did grease all points as recommended but this did nothing to stop the terrible screeching and grinding. I have had several other brands of WDH hitches and never had any noise as Terrible as this. I sent a note to Equalizer on my warranty card about this. I will report back later after using these jackets on my next trip

Almost completely eliminated hitch noise

Works just as expected. Most of the noise from the weight distribution hitch is gone. I know it's fairly normal to have creaks and groans from the steel-on-steel contact of the WDH, but it's still a horrible sound. These bracket jackets really helped!
