The picture shows that there is a cord but when it arrives there is no cord

Daytons' least expensive 1/4hp motor to run a 20"blower on a furnace/air handler. Grainger charges shipping it would have been 25% of motor cost. Bushing and key included. Robust packaging.

In my experience Dayton is a solid company for electric motors. Got this in a few days and used it to rebuild a lapidary 6 inch trim saw. Perfect size and power for this application. 1/3 HP will also work but IMO this is bigger than necessary and wastes electricity.
Motor also has the mounting bracket which makes installation easier. Price on this unit is very competitive. Buyers of this should understand that motor does not come with a cord so you will need to buy a heavy electric (14 gauge minimum) power cord and then wire the device according to whether you want CW or CCW rotation. Very easy to do since there is a panel on the motor that covers the connection points. I had a cord already with an inline switch and I would recommend this as well.

So far after searching this cord seems good:

Master Electrician 6-Feet Indoor Extension Cord with 3 Outlets and On/Off Switch , Black

This is heavy duty with heavy duty inline switch. You will need to cut off the female end and strip the wires before connecting to the motor. The other option would be to buy a heavy duty power cord and inline switch separately and install the switch yourself.

Edit: I just came from the cord page and a user has stated that the cord is rated at 10 amps but he says it's actually closer to 8 amps. Also the gauge of the wires is 16. But this motor is rated at only 5 amps (according to the description) so you should be fine with this cord. 16 gauge instead of 14 is probably OK as well but if you are making a cord from scratch I would go with 14 gauge.

Edit 2: The motor I received has 4.8 amps on the label while the motor in the above photo says 7.6 amps. So the photo used to sell this motor is incorrect. You can see a closeup of the above motor if you use the magnify feature.

Last Dayton furnace blower motor lasted 15 years maintenance free. Will buy another one when & if needed

We bought this motor to replace the old one driving our whole house attic fan but it keeps shutting itself off to protect itself from the high temperatures. Otherwise it seems to work just fine. If you are looking for a motor for your attic fan definitely pay attention to the temperature ratings because this one can't handle the summer heat. Live and learn.
