I've had this True Utility shackle and lobster clasp key ring for over a month now, and I'm happy with it. It keeps things in my pocket under control.

I read that some people needed to use Loctite to keep the shackle from unscrewing, but I haven't had any problems. I only have three keys on it, one with a red plastic thing around the part you grab, and there seems to be room for a fourth key.

I'm only using two of the lobster clasps. One is holding a small pill holder, and the other, a Leatherman Micro multitool. The clasps are stiff and shouldn't open accidentally, but that combined with their small size makes them hard to open one handed.

The key ring is sturdy and won't bend easily. It's just over 3/4" (maybe 13/16") outside diameter, and it's flat on the front and back.

It all seems to be working together well.

Nice addition to my P7 suspension clips, allows me to use the P7's with my various SAK's. I like the size of this clip better than the shape and size clip that was delivered with the P7 clips. I little tight to get this to fit onto the standard P7 split rings but no issues with the split rings after the clips are installed.

I do not like this product because of its necessary upkeep, its ineffectiveness, and because there are better options available for everyday carry. Product owners need to periodically tighten the screw on the five key shackle or else risk their keys flying all over the place randomly when taken out of their pocket. I for one do not like to think about my keys, and I feel that accounting for them and securing them on a simple key ring should be taken for granted. Despite its ability to compartmentalize keys, this product will let owners down unless maintained. Simple key rings, from my experience, do not ever need to be thought about, and always do the job without fail. Also, the quick clips are not the most innovative invention, as utilizing a small carabineer in their place would actually be more efficient due to their ability to disconnect from both the key and key ring with ease. This product did not meet my expectations, and I recommend potential customers stick with traditional key rings and utilize small carabineers if such versatility is required.

This has changed the way I carry my keys. I used to carry every key I had to everything, but then I decided to simplify it down to what I use most regularly.

I this has been soooo nice, to be able to easily unclip my car key from my other keys while it's outside warming up. Also, the shackle that holds ~5 keys has been incredible. I've never once had a problem with the screw coming loose, and yet each of my keys on it are able to easily swing around each way to use them around a building I frequently have to get into and around inside. I have had keys come off the clips once or twice, but that's because of the wide shape of the o-ring on my Honda key, which slides off if pulled at a specific angle. It's not a regular thing, and only happens when I'm handling my keys in a weird way, not casually in my pockets or anything like that. I honestly don't recall if the center ring I use is the one from True Utility or not. But the clips and the shackle have made my life so much easier. It's quite easy to flip things around with a single hand to find what I'm looking for.

For those wondering, I also carry the True Utility brand key tool, found on the key to the bottom right. I've found it useful on more than one occasion. The weird hook thing to the right of my Honda key is a pocket clip. This helps my keys to hang off to the side inside (or on the outside) of my pocket, and not bunch up in the bottom, with my money clip or pocket knife. It helps me to not have a painful mass of metal bunched up in one spot. The flash drive is a metal-bodied 64 GB Silicon Power flash drive, that totally holds up to the beating of swinging around with my keys.

First I just want to say I love the packing presentation and I can see me using the container to store paper clips or screws. However as I plan to buy more I would rather they lower the price by 50 cents and they send these in a bubble bag.

Anyways I really like this Key System and I am giving it 4 stars. The clips that came with mine are strong and not like some other reviewers say. Maybe they got a bad batch? I use mine to clip my USB flash drives (Kingston Digital DataTraveler) for fast access to them and to make sure I don't loose one. I will say at least for me I took of the screw key holder. Why? Because it seem unsafe and I did not want to loose keys. Secondly it actually hurt and was hard to separate keys when opening doors. So that is why I took a star off.
