I purchased this because the original disappeared. After it got here we found the original hanging in the garage (we bought a new truck and it didn't make the transfer) but this one is actually built out of a much heavier insulated wire. Now we can keep one in each car!

If you have bought the 2 DVD players for you car, I recommend this cord highly. It is premium quality, and has survived getting chewed on once, and getting stepped on. It is nice and heavy, but also very long and easy to slip into the cracks on the seats to hide it fairly well. I recommend this product highly. I also like the red light that announces it is plugged in. It saves me from messing with it.
