Really likes the soft toe version of these better, but it appears they only make it with composite toe now. Trying composite toe, runs a half size big, easy exchange, was bulky boot now it's really wide & bulky taking a bit to get used to, composite toe makes it a bit heavier work book then soft toe. Was hoping it was comparable to soft toe version in fit & weight. That is not the case. May have to find anew brand of boot. Really liked the ease of side zip. As truck driver of ag products, having an easy on & off boot for quick change from driving to unloading footwear is essential these are too bulky for limited space available in the semi cab.

I bought my last pair of these boots in 2018, and wore them for my last 2 years at my coal-fired power plant operations job (10,000-15,000 steps most shifts). Once I left there and went back to working as an electrician, I still got another year of wear out of them. My Ariat or Red Wing work boots are typically good for a year or so before they need to be replaced. I've been nothing but impressed by the durability of these boots.

The one issue I've had is that the zipper tabs break off, and I have to replace them with tabs made out of steel wire or small key rings so that I can use the zippers. However, I'm happy enough with them that I can overlook that small defect.

Good so far! Comfortable and seem to be holding up quite well. Grip really good to stainless steel. The only issue I have is the water resistance not being very resistant. I would buy again though.

So far I like these boots, But I've only used them a couple of weeks now. I drive truck coast to coast and I wanted something warm and dry for the winter that doesn't have a bunch of laces.
The fit is a little loose once they're on, but I think it would be hard to get them on if they fit any tighter. Overall they are comfortable to walk around in. They are very warm and I wear them in very cold weather like 1 degree and less. I chained my truck up several times while wearing these boots on a trip across country and while they didn't totally keep the water out my feet were never cold because they are so well insulated. I put them by the heater for an hour they dried right out. I'm thinking a little bees wax on the zipper will help with that.
