This is smaller than a 'regular' standard pillow, but is a very good size. It works ok for sleeping, but I also use it as a lumbar support in a chair, and when I am stretched out on the sofa it adds the extra neck support needed when watching TV or reading.

This product is not for everyone. Ensure there is a free return label offered. I purchased my buckwheat pillow at Zen Chi and realize it was too small and not what I was expecting in terms of firmness. I suggest to help buyers visualize the size and how firm the product is. Perhaps with a video or more relevant pictures.

There is a couple day learning curve to figure out how to position everything so that it will support your head and neck, however it is a wonderful product and we bought one for everyone in the house.

I find this the best pillow for support while reading or watching TV, and for sleeping. Does not seem noisy, has no odor, and I always find a comfortable position. My husband also uses one for sleeping.

After I purchased my first buckwheat pillow earlier this year, I realized that buckwheat filling is AMAZING. I went camping and took one of my old pillows and realized that sleeping on the damp (it rained), limp filling was misery compared to my wonderful buckwheat pillow.
I bought this one so that I don't have to lug my full size pillow around when I'm camping and traveling, since it's pretty heavy. This smaller one is perfect! It's much lighter so it takes up less space in our camp gear, but still has all the support of the larger one. It's great for when I only need a place to rest my head (whereas the larger one is also good for lounging in bed). Plus the buckwheat dries quickly, so it doesn't matter if our tent leaks or if I sweat in my sleep.
When I'm not camping, I sleep with it between my knees or under my side.
My sleep has never been better!
