Surprisingly supportive pillow!

This pillow is excellent. I've been using it about a month and love it. It's a hard firm pillow that is totally comfortable. Which seems contradictory I know, but I prefer a firmer pillow and mattress due to back and neck diseases I deal with and this is the most comfortable firm pillow I've come across. It is also hypo allergenic and allergy free which was the main reason I was looking for a new pillow to deal with household allergy issues we have. The pillow is able to provide support to my neck either when I'm laying on my back or when on my side and it stays in its position all night so I'm not constantly readjusting. I was hesitant at first for any pillow to work out without seeing it in person first but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive pillow to give it a try because it works for softness and yet supportive at the same time.

The Bamboo pillows arrived on time and in good condition. After unpacking them from the zipper bags they came in it took a lot of fluffing to get them to expand, and even a little time in the dryer on low heat as the seller said it would. The reason so much work is needed is because they are compressed down to fit in there nice packaging, and they most likely stay that way for an extended period, outside temps in my area were pretty cold as well adding to this. They did fluff up nicely before bed time and are rather firm but mold to your head and neck quite well. My head does stay cooler at night too, I didn't believe it would. And yes I paid FULL PRICE for these pillows. My only complaint is the smell of the memory foam or whatever else product smell there is. A little Febreze later and still smells some. Hopefully that will go away soon. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Be careful of fakes, if you get one and it goes flat on you overnight it's a fake. This isn't one of those, it's the real McCoy. It expanded to full size after removing it from the carrying case (took about 10-15mins.) and I had my first real decent sleep in a very long time. I'm also amazed at how soft bamboo cloth is. I'd like to have some clothes made from it. It is a very firm pillow, but not rock hard. It does dent in some from the weight of your head, but it cradles your head and neck much better than regular pillows. This is a MUCH better alternative to those massively overpriced Tempurpedic Pillows.
Finally a great night's sleep.

As other reviewers warn, the pillow comes perhaps in inch thick and takes at least a full day to fluff up. When you open the pillow initially, shake it out, smack it on the table, and try to break up the squished-together clumps of shredded foam inside. One of the pillows I ordered fluffed up quickly and the other seemed only halfway and seemed to be full of hard lumps. I broke the lumps up and put both pillows in the dryer on low for twenty minutes or so and BAM! they swelled up massively. I have struggled for years to find a great, truly supportive pillow for side-sleeping and everything has been too soft, particularly memory foam pillows which begin well but sort of melt throughout the night. These, however, start a little too firm and a little too full and can be squished into a perfect shape which they retain all night. When I wake up I'll find whichever one I was sleeping on a bit mangled but by the time I go to bed again it has fluffed up perfectly. I absolutely love these pillows and declare them absolutely worth the price!

I....LOVE....THIS...PILLOW!!!!!!!! I haven't gotten any real sleep since before the holidays. I received my pillow yesterday and, no exaggeration, 5-10 mins within placing my head on my pillow and I was knocked out cold for over 8 hours. I finally woke in the morning without my back and neck hurting. This has been the best money I've spent in a very long time. It was packaged really well and easy to remove from the barrel shaped bag it comes in. Also, I didn't have to wait long for it to fluff up, I used it immediately. I am going to order several more for myself and family. So soft and comfortable, feels like your head is gently resting upon a cloud. So grateful for this purchase. I strongly recommend this pillow to everyone.
