I purchased a new (1 year old) RV last year and at only 26 gallons, the water tank was a little small. There was plenty of space under the bed, so I planned to install this tank in its place. Once I started on the project however, I decided to simply add this tank to increase the fresh water supply. I had to build a base to raise the existing tank so the tops of the 2 tanks were the same height. I then ran the line from the outlet of the old tank to a T on the outlet of the new tank that then runs to the pump. I Tee'd the vents together as well. The only problem is that it fills kind of slow as the only connections between the tanks are the smaller 1/2" lines. Since, I decided to use both tanks I didn't have new level sensors to install in the new tank. I will have to add those soon otherwise, the indicator shows empty when we still have at least 30 gallons of water available.
Additionally, to be able to get all of the water out of the tank, it seems the tank needs to be installed as it is shown in the picture with the narrow side down. Otherwise, the pre-tapped fitting locations a little far from the side which would leave about 1.5" of water standing the bottom.

Stripped easy from over tightening

Threads on the tank are a little soft. Stripped easy from over tightening. Coated the threads with silicone works fine. Overall pleased with the purchase.
