Low profile is perfect for any scenerio

After searching for many downspouts I settled on this one. I have Golden's that will chew anything. The typical plastic flex pipe was destroyed in a day. With this low profile I was able to bury it so the dogs can't get to it and it gets the water away from the house. Easy decision.

The item overall is well built and may last several years vs. the comparable flexible type that come in white, brown, green or black (these tend to get eaten up by the sun and will only last a couple seasons if in direct sunlight). I expect this low profile to hold up well, plus be easier to bury. The price on this is actually high since I've found the same item at the big box store HD near the twelve dollar mark. So, consider this when ordering.

We love these things! We have 5 downspouts in front of our house and the normal downspout that came with the gutters were way to big! I found these on Amazon and the low profile will allow us to rock over the top of them in the flower bed. I will try to post a pic of it after the rock is done. Very good buy!

It did take a small amount of effort to install. I needed to bend the downspout a little bit to get it to fit. I added some small self-drilling screws to hold it in place. It takes a good 3 inches of stone or mulch to completely cover it. But once in place, it works great!
