Hard for me to say I love this because it's for my dogs but it was recommended by my holistic vet so have used it for several years. They do great with it, sprinkled on every meal. She says it is well balanced and has exactly the pro-biotics that dogs need. I will probably never use anything else because it seemed very effective with three of my dogs who had cancer. They digested their food very well, even the pup who had an intestinal tumor. They all lived 3 or 4 times longer than was predicted and my guess is that this pro-biotic certainly helped.
My holistic vet recommended this for my dog's GI problem

My holistic vet recommended this for my dog's GI problem. Every time my dog has a flair up , I mix a teaspoon of organic whole milk yogurt , 1 scoop of clay and 3 scoops of biotic and by next morning he is back to normal . This stuff is needed in any pet owners house with GI problems or sensitive stomach .
my dogs love it!

Well, who really loves this product is my two dogs! It was recommended by the vet, but was easier to get the refill from Amazon -- plus benefit my favorite charity through Amazon Smile.... It was actually recommended for just one of my dogs, who has perpetual itchy skin, but I've been giving it to both of my dogs. If I leave it off, they give me a look like, "well???" In combination with another herbal product, this has been helping my one dog get a break from constant nibbling at her own skin.
A must have if dog is on antibiotics
TheHappyOne613•June 15, 2017
My GSD was put on two weeks of strong antibiotics. Since he is on a raw food diet and has GI sensitivities initially, I needed to find something that would help his gut during his time on medication. This probiotic has been fantastic. I place it in his dog bowl, four scoops, add a little water, and he laps it up. He even licks the bowl. It is his own version of Metamucil. He hasn't had any problems thanks to the probiotic. I would highly recommend this product.
No more diarrhea
L. Johnson•January 16, 2017
My vet prescribed this first for my chihuahua with IBD. We were looking for a supplement that would help him digest his food without deterring him from eating. He doesn't seem to mind the powder on his food at all and he hasn't had diarrhea while on this. I'm sure the food also helps, but this seems to work better than other probiotics we have tried. It needs to be refrigerated after opening. This large one lasts me six weeks and he gets it twice a day. I recommend this for anyone looking for a probiotic for their dog.
