I absolutely love this product. It is NOT cheap but it works great in all applications where you want to stick something to a surface you do not want to ruin by making holes into it. I use this to attach USB chargers, home automation sensors, aluminum channels with LED strips inside, etc to furniture. It holds on strong, it allows easy removal and it does not destroy/ruin the surface beneath. I do NOT stick this to painted surfaces as I am assuming the paint would likely be ruined.

Doesn't hold well. I've used the regular (high profile??) Dual Lock for many years with excellent results. I decided to try this for a car visor application, to hold my glasses case to the windshield visor. The product held well to the visor and to the glasses case, i.e., the glue was good. But the reattachable, tiny-toadstool fingers performed poorly. Drive over a good bump and the glasses case would fall down. Ordinary Velcro would be better. Time to peel off this stuff and return to the *old* Dual Lock!

I bought these because I thought they were heavy duty - like for walls and stuff. They aren't and wont stick to a lot of fabric.
I ended up using them on my art for my cubicle tho; that works really well. It can lift a reasonably sized poster on a foam mat just fine with no issues.

Dual Lock is great stuff. But be aware that the low-profile version ...

Dual Lock is great stuff. But be aware that the low-profile version isn't quite as nice as the normal-thickness version: it takes more force to mate, and it doesn't have quite the same nice, positive "snap" when it does mate, which makes it harder to tell when it's attached. It's still better than anything else if you need the thinness though.
... sure the adhesive on the back would eventually become useless and I would have to use a hot glue ...

I was sure the adhesive on the back would eventually become useless and I would have to use a hot glue gun, but i've been pleasantly surprised. I think the key is to use more of the tape on the object you are sticking too than the one that may be removed later, use minimal on that.
Either way, good stuff. I can easily interchange the accessories on my armored battle suit now. Would recommend to anyone.
