Easy restocking
D. Brown•September 11, 2017
Just a quick stock up for resistors for cheap. In the long run, you start ending up with lots of resistors you do not use often, but purchasing these are so easy and bagged in pre-marked resistance value bags. It's just too easy to restock with these.
Great

I always buy Joe Knows when they offer what I am looking for, never disappointed. The product is well packaged and labeled. The electrolytic capacitors are manufactured by Topmay and are VENT model, which are low impedance.
Great kit and good value. Can't go wrong with Joe.

In truth, I have not used Joe's capacitor kit as much as his Joe Knows Electronics 1/4W 1% 86 Value 860 Piece Resistor Kit due to my projects (power converters) needing greater than 1 farad capacitors , but both kits provided plenty of options for me when designing control circuits. Of the capacitors I have used out of this kit, all performed well in my circuits and I have enough variety from this kit alone to last me though many projects. Also they come in pre-labeled bags to make finding and organizing the capacitors a breeze. I definitely will be getting another capacitor kit from Joe if I ever run out.
Great for Hobbyists

Reasonable assortment of most common capacitors used by hobbyists. I would recommend adding another kit with values from 47 uF to 2200 uF if you are doing repair of older electronics. This kit will save you a lot of time and money hunting for and buying individual caps at your local electronics store.
Nice assortment, quick delivery and good quality.

Like I always say, "I've been 'doing' electronics as a hobby AND a profession for over 60 years.
Recently I've needed to replenish my 'personal' bench stock of components of all types. I needed a good assortment of capacitors. In the end I actually bought 5 different capacitor assortments from various Amazon Vendors.
One of the first was Joe's assortment. It arrived promptly, was well sorted and packaged and no components were damaged. Like the other component assortments (1/2W resistors, 1W resistors & semiconductors) I bought from him, the parts were good quality and the most often needed values.
I "Quality Checked" perhaps 5-10% of them with my QUALITY LCR meter, all were within tolerance (where tolerance was specified), or if not specified, were within what I personally think reasonable. I don't have the test equipment to "ESR Test" electrolytic capacitors, so I can't speak for the ESR of any of them (such as might be used in switching power supplies etc).
