I do not own fish. I do not like fish. I bought this item for one purpose: it is a wonderful and inexpensive top dressing for my succulent planters. Succulent addicts, listen up! If you are looking for affordable decorative rocks for your succulents and air plants, you should consider getting this 5-pound of GloFish Aquarium Gravel. I love the size of this gravel. It is just the right size. Not so big that it's funny looking but also not so small that the vacuum picks it up and carries it away. There was some dust in the bag but a good rinse of the gravel before use took care of that. I am disappointed that there seems to be nothing special about this gravel. Hence the 4 stars. When I paid more for glofish gravel versus the cheaper white gravel at my local store, I expected to see some color change under black lights. There is none. Not even a glimmer of a glow. Since I wasn't setting up a complete glow tank, it's not as big of a deal as if I had gotten the full system. Instead of using the fancy lights, I keep the aquarium on white lights which makes the space look nice and clean.

I wanted white rocks that were vibrant. These are perfect. I do not have a glow fish tank but figured these would work just fine with my Betta tank. Looks great

I love how bright these are! They didn't fill my 10 gallon tank as much as I'd like but I was switching from a 2 gallon tank that already had pink gravel in there so once I added that in it filled up nicely. I think the pink makes my aquarium stand out and gives it a cute little look.
