I do have to admit I was a little undecided when I ordered this clock BUT when it arrived and opened the box I knew right away it was the clock I always wanted. It is well done with REAL WOOD, easy to put together and it sounds exactly like a cuckoo....I love it!

Also it comes with a light censor so it doesn't cuckoo at night or when is dark which is perfect and the low and high volume switch is a plus.

Made in Germany? Yes Sir that is one of the reason I bought it

Love our cuckoo clock. Makes it easy to enjoy since it's battery operated.

We bought this for my mother-in-law's kitchen, to replace a less expensive cuckoo clock that stopped working. She loved the clock so much! The wood is absolutely beautiful and the detail would convince you this is a much more expensive clock. The sound of the cuckoo is gentle and not jarring at all. It was quite easy to assemble and we look forward to many years of good service from it.
