you have already wasted to much time on this product reading this review

Made of cheap rip-stop nylon, you put it on your windshield after driving, the warm windshield melts the snow that is falling, the Auto Expressions absorbs it and it re-freezes to your windshield as well as wicking water inside the vehicle. Don't bother go to the fabric store and buy 2 yards of curtain black out, waterproof side out and you will safe yourself scraping a piece of nylon off of your window...you have already wasted to much time on this product reading this review!!
Waist of money....puddle of water inside car!
DawnDecember 29, 2015
My first impression when I opened the package was...this might last a couple months of Buffalo winter. The material is quite flimsy, but figured I'd give it a try in hopes that it would defy my expectations. I did as the instructions suggested, tucking the flaps inside the car door to get a secure hold. When I went to get into my car the next morning, there was a puddle of water all over the floor of my car on both driver and passage side. Apparently, the cover messes with the seal on your car door. Ugh. I tried suction cupping the cover to the outside of the car, but the cover just slide down with the weight of the moisture/snow. Waist of money...do not buy!!!
Flimsy

The fabric used to make this is really quite flimsy. It also did not cover my windshield as I had hoped and it is too far away from my windshield wipers to be able to rest them on the cover as advertised. However, it is as good as I expected for the price. I bought it because the really nice one I already had does not go inside my car and I am worried about theft as it appears there is a thief or two living in my apartment complex. :( I have only used the cover twice so do not know how well it holds up over time.
Works well, keeps the snow and frost off.

These have worked well for me for the most part. I have not experienced any leaking into the car. It keeps the snow and frost off of my windshield and wiper blades, however, if rain gets under it and freezes, it will stick to the windshield. It's very thin, sort of like a wind breaker jacket, so a high wind may dislodge it, but I have not had that happen yet. I don't bother trying to get the suction cups to stick, I just stuff it into the door and SLOWLY close it as to not crush my fingers and it usually stays tight enough not to let any snow underneath.
Windshield cover
Chimes at Midnight ReviewsDecember 8, 2014
I purchased two of these covers--one for a 1994 Ford Aspire and the other for a 2001 Ford Ranger pickup. The covers are plenty large to cover the windshields on both vehicles in both the length and the width. I like that the edges of the cover have a sewn-on border, which helps keep the edges from fraying over time. While I don't take the time to refold the cover and stuff it back inside the permanently attached zippered pouch when I take it off the windshield, the material *wads* up easily to put it back inside the pouch. The cover comes with suction cups for securing to the inside of the windshield, but I don't use those. The covers stay securely on the windshield even in strong winds if you pull the cover snuggly across the outside windshield, tuck and close the ends inside the doors, and put the windshield wipers over the cover. For the price, I am pleased with the product and would purchase again.
