OMG - my life just got easier with this blower/mulcher. My new home does not have lawn/yard clippings weekly pickup. I had a dilemma trying to figure out what to do with all the leaves from 4 trees. Yes, I used my composter but it can hold hold so much. Bagged a bunch but then had the problem of where to dispose of it. Our local dumps does not take green trash (What's with that?). Finally purchased this item before the full fall season ended and it was GREAT. I mulched my leaves in from from 2 trees and 4 of my neighbors yards. Once mulched it takes up a fraction of the space. We did bag the mulched leaves and found a dump that would take it. It is light enough to use that this 70 yr old has no trouble handling it. The blower portion is so much stronger and effective than my old blower. Clean up is quick and easy.
Worked only once

Bought this in April. Worked perfectly. I only used to pick up small leaves in backyard. Obviously I don't use it every week so I tried to use it again two weeks later, nothing. I contacted the seller, no answer. Time goes by. Still nothing. It just doesn't work. Now my return day is up. I wrote directly to the manufacturer and no answer. Very disappointed. I don't know what to do anymore. Giving one star just cause I cannot leave it blank.

Died Way Too Fast

This worked fantastically well... for about 3 months. The last time I tried to use it, it was simply dead as could be. No combination of cables or outlets could bring it to life. The previous use was flawless, and did nothing to make me think that it wouldn't turn back on the next time I needed it. When it was working, it was great. I especially loved the vacuum mulcher, it was a blessing for my ward. Now will fall in full swing, I needed it more than ever... to no avail. I am not sure if I will replace it with this brand, as the short life span was not impressive.
Wish I'd bought it months ago.

I use this both to clear clippings from the sidewalks and driveway, as well as to clear leaves.
For blowing debris, this is a great tool. It's very powerful, and even cleared grass clippings that had been rained on and then dried out and stuck to the concrete. Of course it's loud, but not uncomfortably so. My neighbors have very "twiggy" trees, and it cleared sticks as thick as my pinkie finger from the sidewalk with no effort.
As a vacuum, it's fun, but a little nerve wracking. The impeller is plastic, and there were lots of small twigs mixed in with the pile of leaves. When it sucks them in, the twigs make an awful sound when they hit the blades, but it never slowed or stopped. I am a little concerned how it will stand up come time to clean up the back yard (we have two large pear trees) given the plastic blades, but it seems sturdy so far.
Changing from blower to vacuum is a little cumbersome, but that's to be expected since 100% of the weight is in the orange seen in the photos. As long as you're switching over either on a table, bench, car trunk, etc, it's very manageable with no effort. I thought it would be kind of a pain since it's electric, but it's nice not having to worry about gas or oil. I wouldn't have the same comfort level with a lawnmower, but for this, it's perfect.
I'm also looking forward to using this in the winter, since we get a lot of dry, dusty snowfalls. Using the blower will help prevent the resulting icy patches.
