I have a need to use disinfectant spray at times, such as when one of my family members is ill or a visitor has brought unwanted germs into the house. Lysol Vanilla is the only disinfectant spray that has a pleasant scent. We've tried all Lysol scents, as well as those from other manufacturers. We previously used the Lysol Vanilla to mask odors as well in the bathroom, etc. Sadly, it no longer is available in the grocery stores or other retailers. I can only find it on line. I marked it down one star simply because it is way overpriced. But, I recognize that it is the law of supply and demand and am grateful that I still can purchase it.

it's advertised as "killinng 99.9% of viruses & bacteria." Not sure if that is true but I believe it. I get so paranoid about germs especially during flu season so I use this on everything -- door handles, knobs, sinks, toilet seats, shower handles -- basically anything the human hand can touch. So far, I've avoided getting sick when most people around me are suffering from colds and basic cases of the flu. So it's safe to say that I think this works.

It also smells fantastic. I love a citrusy clean smell, and this makes my house smell lovely. It can be used to spray ouches/sofas, mattresses, pillows, rugs so you can block odors and disinfect. I like to use it around my shoe rack so I never have to smell feet. It's also great for hard surfaces like counters and tables.

With teenagers around and coughing off and on, picking up germs from others from school, sports, games, etc., I have to have lysol around this house and lots of it. I ordered this one it has vanilla scent and of course suppose to kill germs on services. I spray it everywhere, phones, door knobs, bathroom toilets, sinks, cars, truck, even on my shoes and purse before and after I go to a medical facility. Because you never know what you may pick up on your shoes or purse that you do not see.

A great disinfectant with a very nice orangey scent. Great for light switches, remote controls, drawer handles, faucets, toilet handles, door handles, banisters, trash can lids, refrigerator handles, stove knobs, dishwasher oven & microwave buttons, and anything else that disgusting dirty hands might touch and become a breeding ground for infectious bacterial colonies. Great for preventing the spread of infectious disease (though not for parasite eggs) spread from kids' dirty hands. Otherwise for the overly paranoid since microorganisms are necessary and everywhere. But if it makes a guy think he's doing something healthy, then at the very least it'll leave your house smelling like a fresh orange grove.

My Boyfriend and I have been using Lysol products for years. We always found that every Lysol spray was too harsh of a smell and left us coughing and tasting chemicals in the backs of our throats. UNTIL getting the Vanilla Blossoms Lysol. Amazing scent, very soft vanilla scent and no harsh chemical smell. We use it on the couch, bed and carpets and it leaves them smelling amazing! Would recommend!
