If you are looking for a heavy duty cleaner, this is not it... but if you are looking for a great disinfectant, you've found just what you need! I feel like a lot of the bad reviews of this product misunderstood its use. It is not a cleaner, it is a disinfectant. With that said, because of it's alcohol content, it cleans pretty well! I love that I can use this on a variety of surfaces and I feel confident that the germs are dead. I have used it on carpet, sealed hard wood, granite counter tops, toilets, sinks, and clothes. It hasn't ruined any of the surfaces, left any residue, and hasn't discolored anything. The main reason I bought this is because a couple of us got Norovirus and I didn't want the rest of the family to get it. Very few cleaners actually kill Norovirus and when the dog got it, I knew I needed something I could use that would work on all surfaces that would actually work. This did the trick!

This cleaner is the only one that I'm aware of that kills the Norovirus. I use it on EVERYTHING, not just kitchen surfaces. My daughter has had the stomach bug twice since she was born, and after it passes through, I spray this on all of her toys, bottles/cups (before washing them, of course), etc. and my husband and I haven't caught it from her (knock on wood). I fell safe using it on all of her items, and it cleans very well in the kitchen and on surfaces. The scent isn't great, even if you get the "citrus" kind. It pretty much smells like alcohol, but that's what Purell usually smells like, so it doesn't bug me too much. Just a head's up--if you spray a lot of it in a small area, make sure that you crack a window or something because it does smell very strong. I sprayed the heck out of my car after my daughter was sick in it, and coughed for about 15 minutes afterwards.

I am the designated toilet bowl cleaner in my house. I like this spray because you can spray it all over the toilets and inside the lid and let it sit for a minute. Then when you go to wipe the toilet down, POOF, it's clean and even brighter than it was. I don't feel safe using it on my granite countertops but I use it in my sinks, my toilets, on handles, on light switches - I am a germ-fearing mother of three. I also spray this in the garbage cans around the house prior to putting in a new bag to keep things fresh.

Purchased this to prep soft surfaces in homes prior to surgeries for people. Closest to hospital grade could get. Remember to follow instructions when using any disinfectant as sit times are important when dealing with microbes; if you spray and wipe things then you are not using this correctly. Not all soft surfaces will take disinfectant without discoloring; spot testing in a place you can't see is a good approach before deciding if that particular surface is going to be a good post-surgical seating area in a home as well as other considerations.

Purchased specifically for cleaning/disinfecting items after a flood was not let down! Will definitely continue to buy this item to keep as a part of cleaning products. Having cats and a dog this comes in handy, love that can use on fabric as well without any problems and not needing to have to rise items afterwards. Left NO streaks on glass table tops as well. Only a bit odd is that the per bottle cost is a bit confusing, it is set up that you buy in 3, 6 et. but the cost is higher per bottle in larger the more in the bundle? Not sure why should normally be less per bottle? So other than that Great product with a 2 thumbs up!
