I bought this because I did not want any additives like dextrose. I am really pleased with the taste, the consistency and the scent. It seems very fresh and the package is exactly as pictured. This is about 3 cups of product. I have already used it in some cold beverages and it's wonderful.I am using it to boost milk supply, I'll be taking about 4 tbsp a day and update this if it works.

I must warn you, don't leave the package open or expose the product to air as any humidity will cause it to harden and go stale almost immediately. It's like cotton candy in a humid environment...it isn't a good combo. Make sure you keep it in an airtight container if you transfer it from its original package.

The stuff will turn hard as a rock if exposed to the air. You need to put it in another bag around the one it comes in with a desicant and then put that in an airtight plastic container.

I got this in an attempt to replicate delicious malted milkshakes in a lactose-free recipe. Grocery store malt for milkshakes is made with milk products. This is pure malt. I wasn't sure if it would work but it does, tastes exactly like the malted milkshakes of my youth. I make ice cubes from lactose-free milk or oat milk, and combine them in a blender with LF or oat milk, adding dry mix of equal parts organic sugar, dry cocoa powder and this dry malt. Delish!

Add claimed Light Malt Extract but arrived as Malt Extract. I gave it a shot and it works better than anything else I've used in the past for my MEA plates.
