M-14 177 scope mount

The product deserves a full 5-star as is. The reduction goes to the interface between this mount and the M-14 177 pellet gun that has plastic screw points and wobbly mount. The mount now carries my scope to the right of the target.

Had to file the piece that replaces the stripper clip guide with a small three sided file that I already had. Would suggest to any one that buys one, not to try and force the piece into the slot as that will make it a tougher filing job. Overall it is a good, strong, solid sight. Yes I would recommend it.

I was hesitant to buy this mount until reading Retired Marine Corps Gunny's review, so I gave it a go. I am SO glad that I did. Solid, holds zero, and does not interfere with brass ejection. I have put this thing through it's paces, and it is as good as the Springfield Armory mounts, with way less cost. All I can say is read Retired Marine Corps Gunny's review, and you'll be good to go.

I read all review on all mounts. Even the $300 have problems. You WILL have to file the rear mount slowly to get to fit, but once it fits it will not move. You WILL also have to use blue locktite to keep the mount from shooting loose. I would give this a 5-star rating if their were directions.
Mount is made of forged steel, it will work just as good as the pricey ones and save you money.
