These are the same duck sauce that my local Chinese restaurant uses. Now that I can order this through amazon I dont have to worry about how many they give me or if it is enough for the whole family because the shelf life on this is amazing.

Also from east coast / Boston area and this is definitely NOT what I expected after reading reviews from others from the east coast stating it was good. It wasn't. This was pink in color, whereas the stuff I grew up loving with my chicken fingers is more golden in color, and this tasted like cornstarch with a dash of water and some food coloring. It had very little flavor. It is going right into the trash. Boston people looking for a taste of home, this ain't it! Sorry to you other folks from the east coast who grew up on this or something like it. Yuck!

I bought a boat load of these because no matter how hard I try I can never get enough of them with my take out orders and the duck sauce you buy in the market in jars is just not the same. These are better, but still not quite as good as the one's you get in a restaurant.

These are the same packets of Duck Sauce that you would get from any Chinese takeout restaurant on the east coast. Where I live they tend to be a bit stingy with their sauce packets. Now I will never have to beg for extras or worry that my food will be delivered without any packets at all. Very happy with this purchase.
