This tool is abosultely amazing!!! As a novice camper I don't know what I will necessarily need in order to support myself and have a good time. This tool has several needed items. The knife is great for cutting rope and packaging. Then there are two saws for items that can not be cut with the ax. There's a screw driver, just in case, and a bottle opener, which I ALWAYS forget a bottle opener so this has been a life saver. Then the hammer is great for putting up a tent and for household duties too. Outside of just camping this is a great tool to have around the home to have for many events or needs that may come up.

This little baby is more substantial than you would expect! My friend's husband laughed when I showed him, but once he got his hands on it he was impressed! I opted for a traditional claw hammer for our camping gear so we have one tool that can pull the stakes up easily as well since my swiss army knife covers most of our other needs, but this little gadget is a great little find.

You're going to have to make your own axe shield. I'm going to have to make my own. Not thrilled about that. Even in the holster it sticks out even to be very dangerous to carry around. The hammer head is small but it works. I bought it for camping.

I like this portable utility knife. All the basic tools I need for camping are available. The knife is sharp to cut the fruits that we have. The saw was convenient in cutting small branches for fire starters. I gave it a four out of five because the lock for the pliers/wrench/cutter is not that secure when I was using the little ax. It kept on coming off every time I hack the firewood or a larger branch.

Bought this for my dad who loves camping. Hopefully it makes packing easier and lighter. The only issue I saw when I was looking at it, is it doesn't fit very well into the little carrying case it came with. The flap that closes over it isn't long enough and you really have to pull at it to get it to close. Don't know how well it does in the field yet so if I learn anything important I will update this review.
