Does the job!
I can FINALLY get all my channels (and then some)

For years, when college football starts, I have been fighting with my antenna setup to pull in the ABC and CBS affiliates from the nearest large city. My TV could tell there were stations when it scanned, but it couldn't pull in a picture. Well, this fixed it. Added this to my long range antenna and with an amplified splitter to run to 2 TV's, the initial scan found 80 channels (and most of those are crystal clear)!!!
Seems to work, but give it ventilation

When I dropped cable TV and installed an antenna, I tested the signal by connecting a TV directly to the antenna. The result, 60 channels found. When I connected to the splitters already in place throughout the house, I came up with fewer than 40 channels. Clearly, the long cable runs and inferior splitters were causing a degraded signal to reach each TV. So, I purchased this amp to replace the splitters. As a result, I now receive the same 60 channels in all rooms, that I received with a direct connection.

However, I do live in the south, and the amplifier is mounted in the attic. Upon checking some wiring last week, I found the amplifier was too hot to touch. Initially, I had mounted it directly to a 2x4 in the attic. I removed it, and remounted it with some 1/2" standoffs behind the amp, giving the air a chance to circulate around all sides of the amp, That seemed to help, and the temperature dropped dramatically.

It's still relatively new to me, so we'll have to see how well it works after a period of extended use.
Works

Added to my Antennas Direct antenna. This version doesn't have the green light to show it's on, just plug it in and it should work. Easy to setup. Since plugging and unplugging provided different stations, it works.
Added channels

I'm pleased so far. I have 2 antennas going into this up on a mast about 13 feet off the ground. (Antennas are the exact same brand and I'm using the exact same length of coax cable) I'm 30 miles from one market and 50 miles from the other. I pointed both antennas at the market that's 50 miles away. ( I didn't have good results pointing the antennas at each different market) I was getting 30 to 40 channels at first, with this setup I'm getting 102 channels from both markets don't get me wrong some are not great, but at least 85% of the 102 are at least 75 out a 100 on a signal scale. The picture on HD channels is spectacular. I have an old Channel Master (15 years) 1 output distribution amp that runs 3 tvs a Hd homerun Dvr and dish network is still hooked up ( not for long though lol) though a 3 way splitter where it comes into the house, and another 3 way splitter at the tv farthest away where the Dvr and dish hopper are. As far as the power inserter went I made a loop from the antenna into the nearest bedroom so I could plug the power inserter into an inside outlet and back out to go to the splitter. Ground all outside splitters, the mast and the Juice amp, (this is important) Everything is working great at this time, I can run everything at the same time and so far no issues. I'm very pleased. I can't guarantee you will get the same results, I am by no way an expert at this by any means. Again it worked for me, this is at a rural setting. Good Luck
