I simply changed the amp from another name brand 1200watt amp to the skar rp1200 and way louder bass hits harder it sounds great! Only thing I would change is the bass knob cable needs to be telephone jack style.

I have a 12" Dual coil 1600 watt Skar running in 1ohm and it does amazing! It takes the abuse and sounds great doing it. Will say though in the beginning when they get hot, you may smell it burning off something. It went away after a few heat cycles. Like I mean HEAT cycles. Lol.

I paired this up with a 12 inch Rockford Fosgate punch and man does it thump hard. I have to turn it down a few levels because in the c5 Corvette coupe it gets a little hard on the ears lol.
