Wow this stuff is great!! I bought 2 - one for the house and one for the car. One of my dogs used to whine and bark at other dogs, people, whatever and that made my other dog crazy! Car rides were miserable! I used this TWICE and no more problems!! A couple months later he started to whine and I just picked it up and showed it to him...no issues since! Do NOT spray it near their face!! I didn't but could see how people might. Just the noise and scent are enough. It actually smells a little like lilac so I didn't mind it at all!! Recommend!!

I love this product and have bought it many times. It really stops your dog in their tracks redirects them to do something else. I use it for barking and chewing. I will note that this is NOT for all dogs. Two of my friends' dogs will cower and retreat, sometimes shaking for minutes after this is used. So definitely test it out and do not continue if this happens to your dog. This is not simply compressed air (as many of the competitors are) but contains lavender and chamomile, which is supposed to have a pheromone effect. Whether or not this is true, I don't know, but the product does work well and has a pleasant scent.

Hands down, this is the best product I've purchased! I have two schnauzers. One is scared of everything and barks at everything, which gets the other one barking. We have tried all sorts of things to help her, from spray collars and dog trainers to calming herbs. Nothing has worked! Until now! I have sprayed this maybe three times and now all I have to do is pick up the can. No barking! She also seems more relaxed since we started using this. She doesn't tremble when people come over. She will even go to greet them which she never did before. She always stood at a distance and trembled and barked. This is a miracle in a can! Wish I had discovered this years ago because the barking has been a daily headache for years. It also helped my other schnauzer stop things like chasing the vacuum cleaner. I'm not exaggerating when I say this stuff is amazing!

This is the ONLY thing that has worked for us. We have a 2 1/2 year old miniature schnauzer mix, who from day one has been quite a handful. He barks at anything and everything that passes our house. He goes crazy at other dogs while on his walks. He has lunged at joggers, cyclists, motorcycles, and skateboarders. He has even broken through one of the bottom panes in our bay window, barking at a passing dog.
We've tried everything: harnesses, calming body wraps (like thundershirt and others), citronella barking collar, vibrating shock collar, electric shock collar, a can of pennies, spray bottles, yelling, clapping, an in home dog training, distraction training while treating. Nothing has worked. We started thinking we would just have to learn to live with this (everything else about him is great and he's never hurt anyone).
I bought Sentry Stop That! for Dogs hoping it would work, thinking it couldn't hurt. I started walking him and saying "No!" while giving a short spray whenever he sees anything that normally sets him off. Just a week after using it, he will now slow down and look at me instead of the other dog/jogger/cyclist/etc. and he doesn't react. At home, if something passes the house and he runs to the window, I say "No!" and he immediately looks back at me and then comes over to me. At this point, I just need to carry the spray can in my hand when we go on walks. If he becomes a little agitated, I say "No!" and show him the can as a reminder. He immediately corrects himself. I don't even have to spray it! It's amazing! I never thought we'd have him so well behaved so quickly. We still have a little more to go, but after using this spray for a very short time, we are happier and our pup is so much less stressed and listens! We all are enjoying our walks and our evenings in for the first time since we got him 2 years ago. This product is nothing less than incredible.

I rarely write reviews but after seeing how well my puppy behaved in front of neighbors tonight have prompted me to share my story. We live in a very active, very social neighborhood. Khan, our 12 week Tibetan Terrier bit everyone. Not out of anger but out of puppy mode. His teeth are sharp too! The more new people around him, the crazier he would behave. We have used the Stop it Spray for about a week but not spraying it all the time - sometimes just seeing the orange can curbs Khan's behavior immediately. Anyway flash forward to tonight, Khan was incredible around neighbors while walking, while still a puppy (whining, ADD, etc) he did not nip at anyone, not even the other dogs who came near by him! We were astounded and so were 3 neighbors that we saw last week who could not believe the difference in him tonight! While this may not be the answer for all dogs, its sure worth the shot! ... Pun intended. :)

Best Practices:
It's best used with a command so the dog knows why he is being sprayed. I also would not correct more than one behavior at a time. This taught my dog the word "NO". But we started off with "NO Biting Khan". After the 2nd warnings, the 3rd came with a short shot to the rear with the command, "NO BITING KHAN". He understood.
