This Stuff Helped Our Greyhound Finally Get Rid of "Milk-shake" Poops!!
MaryA✓ Verified Purchase•December 27, 2017
Recommended for dogs with poor "pooping performance." This stuff worked for our boy greyhound!
We found it did help "solidify" our one greyhound's commonly loose stool. We used it every night for awhile. Depending on how loose the stool was: 1-2 tblsp of dried carrots (come in pellets), 1/4-1/2 cup lukewarm water, 1 pump of salmon oil; let sit until water is absorbed and carrots rehydrated (maybe 5-10 mins, depending on amount of carrots/water - important so dog doesn't just swallow carrot pellets and then poop them out); then add kibble. Try normal amount of kibble first time. If your dog doesn't eat all his dinner (which is what ours did), then use a little less kibble whenever adding in the carrots. It does tend to "bulk up" the serving. I can imagine this not being a problem for many dogs :).
After several months (maybe after one 5.5 bag?), we started only having to use the carrots 2-3 times a week; in other words, whenever he had a loose stool, which was less and less. I'm sure every dog's experience and need will be different.
Happy to announce that our boy hasn't needed any carrots for several months now! He has consistent, normal poops! Yay!
I don't know if these carrots "fixed" his problem or just helped him along. Whichever the case, if you have a doggie that commonly has those "milk-shake" stools, give these carrots a try. Should help a lot!!

I wish I could give this product infinite stars. My 140 lb. Rottweiler got sick, suddenly, after I gave him dry food that had a red dye (I believe it was Purina brand). He instantly became ill, and had uncontrollable diarrhea. He became so fussy, would not stop whining, and went poo all over the kitchen, living room, and den. He had never exhibited this type of behavior EVER before. I figured it had to be the food, so after going a day without feeding him; I went online and tried to find anything that would help- and help FAST! I am an avid Amazon user, so I typed in "dog diarrhea" and this product popped up. I read the reviews and couldn't believe it. The same issues I was experiencing with my dog. I didn't want to rely on this product alone, so I also bought a pumpkin&apple fiber product (pictured). After 2-4 servings (I can't remember) he was behaving better, and his diarrhea went away. His poop was still very watery, but not coming out uncontrolllably like before. I could not believe it! I should mention that I only fed him this product (mixed with the pumpkin fiber) for a few days, because I was terrified of giving him dry food (I threw away the red dyed food). After I saw more solid poops, I began to mix in a small amount of dry food and have been increasing the amount each day. He began his diarrhea on the 26th of June. So in one week he's back to normal! I know in my heart this product is what did it! If you are having any issues with your pups tummy- please purchase this product. It is truly a life saver!!!
Seems to contain Colonic IBD symptoms

I will never be without this product! A little story - one of my Westie pups (10+ age) has sensitive stomach and very recent;y had blood in stools and rumbling stomach every day with no diarhea which was pronounced in the past 2 years..trial and error with so man things..spending tons of money on supplements, integratve vet, homeopathic, regular vet..we finally did colonoscopy to confirm colonic IBD. I was frantically searching and infact searched this product reviews pages with "ibd". This form of fiber (interestingly none of the carrot puree stuff or honest kitchen dehydrated veggies worked) with tad EVOO works..touch on wood..i just want this to work indefinitely. My pup is doing well with 1 T a day of these carrots.
Talk about a healthy colon! This works better than pumpkin or any other product I've tried.

My sister had given me some of this for my dog and told me to just sprinkle it in his food. It so worked! My dog pooped like a champ and so regularly that I could set the clock by his movements. I *then* read the directions which said soak the product before you put it in their food and that didn't seem to work as well. When I ran out I went back to pumpkin puree and it didn't work nearly as well. So suffice it to say I bought more of the carrots. I sprinkle some in his food and he's back on schedule. I rarely give 5 stars but I'm giving this 5 stars.
Olewo will make your puppy happy!

This product is amazing! We have a young greyhound who has had digestive trouble since his adoption six months ago. We tried different types and brands of food as well as other products to help with his digestion. One of the foods caused bad diarrhea. Nothing helped solve the problem with his loose stools until we tried Olewo. His stools were normal after having just one tablespoon of the product. Now he gets a tablespoon with his food twice daily and he is healthier and happier than he has ever been. Special thanks to the producers of Olewo and the other dog owners who left comments and recommended it.
