I cannot recommend these ENOUGH!!! I have a rescue that developed several hot spots along with generalized itching to the point his inside hind legs were always red and his coat was poor. Many meds, sprays, creams and vet visits did not help. Started the BEETS!!! after a friend told me about them and within a week he was better and after 2 weeks no more scratching and healing hot spots! Now after about 6 months his coat is gorgeous and I have had no issues. I began to give it to all my dogs and my older girl--11+ with associated arthritis began moving like she was 5 again so the anti-inflammatory aspect of these work wonderfully for arthritis too!

I bought this for my 8 yr old Staffordshire Terrier.Every summer he ends up on several steroids prescriptions/shots over the course of the summer.He itches so bad, I feel terrible for him.We are on our 2nd bag of the beets!I think we might have given him 10-12 steroid pills since May, which is a miracle! I believe 10-14 days in there was a dramatic shift with less itching.We give him the beets once daily, we feed morning/evening.If I didn't give him beets for a couple days in a row, he will start to itch. Really helps aid in my dog's digestion. He doesn't have anywhere near the amount of gas that he did, and not to be gross, but his bowl movements look much more "healthy" than they did before using these. Plus, I've never seen his fur so thick and shiny! Also, he'd get this scaly, red skin on his underbelly, but that has also disappeared with the added beets to his daily diet. I highly recommend these to any pet owner, whether your pet has food allergies/sensitivities or not.
