The lock arrived on time and was a perfect match to the old lock. If you have never installed or replaced a door handle, read the directions and make sure you have all the tools needed. This is normally a quick job however with this, there was a piece that fits into the locking mechanism that required me to cut it. This slowed me down as I do not have a tool that would do the job. Because of this, I cannot give the product more than 3 stars. The manufacturer should have supplied various sizes to choose from.

Ok. They really blew it by intentionally deleting the cast threading for the dead bolt on the main plate. They tout that its more secure this way but its only a storm door and normally wouldnt hold up to a tugging attack anyways. The consequence of designing out the threaded casting is that its very hard to install. There are 2 screws that crash into each other, I've never seen anything like this. Thats if you are lucky enough to have a virgin door that wood screws will thread into, if you have a door thats already drilled then you will have problems. I struggled hard and ended up with a screw coupler floating inside the door to capture the screws that face each other. Could be a nice produce if they did get fancy. Its on the door now. Hopefully it will hold up for a few years. I recommend buying because at the moment there is nothing better out there.

It's a beautiful looking door handle....but there had to be missing pieces. I had to use spacers and screws from the old handle to make things work. Plenty of extra pieces because it is a universal product but not the ones I needed

This product came with no instructions which made it more challenging than you'd imagine to install. I appreciated that there were all different size screws so that it would fit your door perfectly, but I had no idea which screws to use where since there were no instructions. It also came with a lock assembly rod that was far too long. The metal was too thick to cut yourself, so I had to take it to a hardware store to have it cut. Once I got all of that situated, I realized that the door lock has screw holes, but no rivets for the screw to fit in to. So I have literally no way to attach the door lock to my door. This hardware kit looks amazing, and if it all worked properly, I'd be happy, but I paid $40 for something that ultimately won't work. I would not recommed.
