I have been using this in my garage for about a year now. Everything works great. The filter bag seems to be able to hold a lot of dust. I used it to clean the garage, door mats, and two cars about once a month. When I tried to change the filter bag last month, it was just less than half way full.

I ordered this to save some floor space in our garage and get rid of an aging Rigid vacuum which had a too short power cord and hose. This unit is quality all the way through. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I mounted it on a wall in the center of our 3 car garage and it can reach every part of the garage with the 30' hose with ease. There are little details which might not be obvious which makes this a fantastic vacuum. First, with the pro version I got, it comes with a complete set of attachments and a nylon mesh bag to store them in. Also, as other have noted, the wand is metal. I don't think anyone else has commented that it telescopes with a ratcheting mechanism so you only have a short piece of tube to store. The attachments are all high quality, actually have hair bristles which are soft for use inside the car.

The power this thing has for a 30' hose is unbelievable. It is very strong, I have some pretty exotic vacuums other places in the house, to include a Festool unit. This thing tops them all for suction power. If you have read reviews which have you questioning buying this until, ignore them and pull the trigger. You will be impressed and as happy as I am after it arrives.

If Vacumaid reads these reviews, a few things that I think could be improved to make this vacuum an even better value:

1) Provide a hanging hook on the side of the canister to hold the bag of implements.
2) Provide a spring clip on the side of the canister to hold the metal wand

AWESOME vacuum! Great suction! Love this thing. Use it to vacuum out my garage and 30x40 pole barn as well as my cars. Great craftsmanship and the utensils are top notch! Great product. Don't hesitate if your on the fence about buying this. Just buy it!

Excellent quality, all the parts seem very well built, especially the wands and accessories. This vac is quieter and much less harsh sounding than my craftsman wet-dry on wheels. My dogs agree. I've been able to centrally locate in my 35x20 garage and get at everything, even the cobwebs in the high ceiling.

Service from Lindsay is top-notch. A part was missing and they sent a replacement right away with a free set of bags.

Very solid, good construction. Hose and attachments are good quality and the metal extension tube is way better than those plastic tubes that come with most vacs. I plan on venting mine outside so I put it next to a window. The 30 foot hose was plenty long enough for me so I saved the $$ on this vs. the 50 foot hose model. Both are identical except for the hose length. It is a lot quieter than the typical shop-vac but installed on a wall 4 feet behind where I sit it is very noticeable typical vacuum noise.... much louder than a review I read where someone claimed they could barely tell it was on.
