Very Nice Overalls and good-looking too.

I am very happy with the overalls that just arrived. Like everyone else I was trying to decide what size to order. I decided on Small Regular. I am a 6 foot tall woman, weight 150 pounds. [I use to be a little over 6 feet, but with age I have "˜settled' and am now a little under 6 ft tall. Although I'm not sure men measure height the same way I do. When I was younger, men always guessed I was 6' 2" tall -- I was 72.5 inches in bare feet. Do men measure there height wearing shoes?]
The overalls' pants and sleeves are a perfect length for me. I was wearing shorts under the overalls when I tried them on and they were slightly short in the crotch. However over the years my waist and belly have expanded: my waist is 34" and my belly is 38". The size small overalls are snug around my belly and push open the "˜slits' in the overalls that access the clothing underneath. About a half inch of my shorts were visible through the slits. I suspect it is my belly that makes the overalls sightly short in the crotch for me. I sew, so I appreciate that the zippers are heavy duty. They look like they are strong and will last. Of course as a woman I don't really need a zipper that will zip up from the crotch, but I'm sure it is very helpful for men.
The only surprise were the sleeves. The photo on Amazon showed sleeves that were long and could zip off to be half-length--sleeves just above the elbow. The sleeves in the overalls I received are full length, they are not convertible. They can not be zipped off to create a shorter sleeve.
Overall I am very pleased with the overalls. The top fits my 38 inch chest with plenty of room to move and work. I bought them because I seem to spend a lot of time in my crawl space [which has a dirt floor] and prefer to easily unzip the dirt and grim after I come out. I also like the zippered pockets to keep items secure that might fall out. I am surprised how good they look on me.

I had been looking for a one-piece mechanic suit for a little while, and decided on this Dickie's long sleeve one. To me, I work on my car year-round, and need a mechanic suit to protect my clothes from being ruined. I used it this past week to fix my transmission, and I was able to slide on the ground to where I needed to go easily. Here are the pro's and cons:
Pros:
Quality - the quality is excellent. I assumed it would be at least good enough, given that it's a Dickie's coverall. Their products are durable and high quality
The Color - I thought the color was different, and I absolutely love it. I wasn't a huge fan of the dark blues or grays I saw with other coverall options (I even saw a coverall that was bright orange--tbh, it looked like a prison jumpsuit). When I saw the green, I loved it. It's a nice dark green that stands out enough for the type of suit it is. In the middle of the project, I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store to grab a couple odds and ends, and I got compliments on the color from several people.
Durable - this is slightly along side of the quality, but felt that it needed it's own category. The material is excellent, and no grease or fluid from the vehicle was able to get through the coveralls. Thus far, I've used it 4 times working on my transmission/exhaust, and it's held up excellent
Price - The price seemed pretty on-par with other coverall options available on Amazon. No, I didn't look elsewhere, and I'm sure there is a great website that offers all kinds of coveralls. For my application, I just needed one, as this isn't my daily attire. For what you pay for, you get a quality coverall that will last.
Prime Wardrobe - Since I didn't know what size I would need, I ordered this using Prime Wardrobe. I had never used Prime Wardrobe before (tbh, I don't know how many times I will need to, as I don't purchase clothes all too often, especially online), but this helped a lot. Both the sizes I selected got here the same day, and I was able to try them on immediately, and return them easily. If you are on the fence of what size you'll need, and you have Prime, utilize this option. It saved a lot of aggravation for the try-on process, definitely.
Cons:
Sizing - the sizing, naturally, is made for men. I'm a woman and it was difficult to find a size that fit "just right". Given the fact that I have a woman's hips, I had to get a mens XL to accommodate that. Everywhere else is baggy. I could always take it to a tailor to have the entire rest of the suit taken in, but you want the suit a little baggy anyway. If there's a female looking for one of these suits (as I'm sure there will be), look for your hip size in the men's chart, and order that size. It seems to be true to fit/the sizing chart. I hope that in the future (if they don't already), Dickie's will start offering coveralls for women (they don't need to be hot pink or anything like that, just make them in our sizes to allow for our curves). This was the biggest upset for these coveralls. Also, Amazon, you need to get on the bandwagon here. I looked up "women's coveralls" and nothing came up. Trades are picking up with not just men, but women too. Since more women are entering into trades, it would be a good idea to have options for them for coveralls.
...For men, they will probably fit fine, as long as you select your correct size.

Good Quality, Tough to Size

I'm satisfied with these coveralls. They seem to be good quality, and there were no issues.
My only negative here is the sizing. I couldn't find detailed info in the other reviews, so I'll try to be as specific as possible. I'm 5'11", 255 lbs. My chest size is 48", and my waist is 40". I generally wear a 32" inseam in jeans. My suit jacket size is 48 Regular. I have broad shoulders, am muscular in the shoulders and arms, and am thick (not fat, nothing hangs over my belt) through the waist. Lol...this sounds like a weird dating profile...
Anyways, I first ordered a XXL Tall. The sizing on this (off Dickies site) is Chest: 50-52, and Neck 18-18.5. I figuered even though I am a 48" chest, I could use a little extra room for clothes underneath, and I like loose fitting stuff anyways. However, I was SWIMMING in these! The chest and waist in the XXL Tall were huge, even with a sweatshirt underneath. The length of the legs and arms was just a bit long, but not bad. The "crotch to shoulders" length was perfect. I couldn't wear these for working, as they are just too big.
I then ordered the XL Tall. The sizing for this (off Dickies site) is Chest: 46-48, and Neck 17-17.5. These fit me pretty well. The chest is perfect, and I can comfortable wear a couple layers. The waist is a bit more snug, but not tight. The only issue I have is with the length. The arms and legs fit well, but the "crotch to shoulders" length seems short. Getting the coveralls up and over my shoulders, and then back off, takes a bit of work. It would be great with just another inch. The regular XL version would definitely be too short.
Overall, I'm going to stick with the XL Tall. I just REALLY hope they don't shrink at all, or they might be too small.
The annoying thing about the sizing is the "gaps" between sizes. Why is the XL 46-48 and the XXL 50-52? Why isn't there a size in between that fits 48-50?? As it is now, it's too large of a jump in sizes.
