The new packaging (red label) sauce taste the same as the original, BUT the orange/red coloring they added ruins dish cloths, stains sinks and counter tops and is hard to remove from hands. If it does all that, what does it do to your insides?? I have used this product for over 40 years when Mr. Wicker was still alive. Go back to the Original Color!

I used it on chicken breasts and found this very simple marinade excels as a tenderizer and natural flavor enhancer. I also managed to grab a bottle at a bargain price ($1.69 for an 24 ounces). The only drawback is its excessive sodium levels. A mere 2 tablespoons of the stuff has a whopping 540 milligrams of sodium. I typically use red wine vinegar, garlic vinegar or balsamic containing zero sodium. I would only purchase it again it they came out with a reduced sodium version. It's a terrific product but it lost a star due to its excessive salt content.
