I really used this sauce for a marinade,it worked out very well.It has a vinegar base which I like,I used it for pulled pork with a rub,it came out very well.

I grew up in southeast Missouri not far from where Mr Wicker made this great sauce. My dad used it and it was a staple in most of the bbq joints and with many of the cooks in competitions. My father would see Mr Wicker back in the 50's making deliveries of his sauce and try to get the recipe-he never got it. Using it brings back memories of good old basic southern bbq. It's great on pulled pork and as a mop for ribs. The original is a thin vinegar sauce but they also make a thicker sauce as well. I prefer the original style as it doesn't overpower the meat like a thicker sauce can. I highly recommend it.
