Great for giving dogs a little freedom

Nice and lightweight, durable. If the dog is prone to sudden running you may want to wear a glove to prevent friction burns. Strong enough for 80lb dogs.
dont drag on gravel/concrete

leash is nice and long. Helps my dog satisfy his curiosity.
However do not drag this leash on the ground/ gravel/concrete.
I have had it for 2 days and it's already starting to show wear.
The nylon braid is feathering (best word I could think of to describe what's happening) already and am not sure when that will give away completely. Will update if it does.
It also gets dirty pretty quickly and is a magnet for leaves etc.

different sizes are great

I like the different sizes this lead came in and had good color options. It seems sturdy, but I have a 6' lead that is thicker and better quality I use for walking my giant dog I picked this lead b/c of the low cost, width 3/4 vs some other brands smaller widths, and color options. I have not used it enough to vouch for durability or clamp's degrading metal like others have mentioned. I also like the options of lengths as I cannot find long lengths in the store. We use this to let our dog roam around when we bring her to a family farm or big park and she tends to go exploring and sprinting ahead to explore. Does not retract, so can get caught in stuff or around your dog's legs.
Changed My Life!

This thing changed my life! How could a simple leash do that you ask? Allow me to explain. I am training my Dutch Shepherd according to the Koehler method. He recommends a 15' leash but it didn't seem long enough. I got this 30' leash and it transformed my dog! Instead of using a 6' leash and constantly tugging on her Koehler recommends you take your dog to an open area, pick out 3-4 spots and just walk from point to point without prodding or verbal cues to your dog.
This taught my dog to pay attention to me at all times. At first she bolted past me and hit the end of the leash. But now she stays within 15'-20' of me at all times. In addition it allows her to smell and run while giving her the feeling that she is free but watching me. Dutch Shepherds are high energy and after 30-45 minutes of this type of training she get more tired than if I just walked her 5 miles.
It has built her confidence and created a better bond between us. I can see where this foundation we are building is going to be a benefit later on for shorter leash work and then off leash.

Beautiful Color, Strong, Well-Made, Heavy-Duty Snap!!
Dreamchaser✓ Verified Purchase•June 13, 2023
Very strong and well made! Absolutely LOVE the vivid, brilliant purple color against my dog's coat - we get lots of compliments on it. The length (for him) is perfect; gives him plenty of walking space, being a good sized dog. Will definitely order one or two more, as this one ages.
The heavy duty snap lever pushes in for great security, and looks sharp too - highly polished chrome.
Please disregard the reviews where people obviously let their dogs chew through the leash; dogs that are left unsupervised to chew, will get through anything except a chain. 70% of purchasers give this product 5 stars - 6% give it one star. If you read through those one star reviews, it's obvious these individuals either can't read or don't have an ounce of common sense. This lead is a heavy-duty nylon; yet it is very easy on the hands. I have both cotton and nylon exercise leads, and this is by far the best of all of them!!
Cheaper quality nylon leads will slice your hand if the dog pulls it hard enough through your hands - I know. This lead is a very comfortable, strong nylon quality. I have a 200', a 100', a 50', a 30', a 20' and a high quality 10' leather lead, from other suppliers, and this one is the one we use the most!!
