We researched this ladder at every site you can think of before ordering, but found the info to be incomplete. It is NOT a 16 ft. ladder as they would have you think, but is a 12.5 ft. ladder which is misleading, and you have to read the fine print to discover this fact. Once you receive the ladder and finally get the owner's manual, be prepared to be disappointed. The instruction photos are not clear as to their meaning and are not explained at all. You also find out that the instructions say you can NOT stand or sit on the top 3 rungs which further limits this ladders useful height. The ladder is advertised as being easy and simple to use. This not my husband's opinion, (he is a retired fire chief and after 42 years on the job, he knows something about ladders). The factory packaging is terrible and very difficult to open, (the shipping box from Amazon was fine). Overall, do NOT waste your time or the expense. The ladder had some interesting ideas (would fit in our motorhome) that are not realized in this virtually unusable product. I believe that all of the models of this ladder would have the same problems. Don't buy it so you won't have to return it.

Within 15 min this black ladder was so hot in the Florida sun that you could not touch with bare hands. Also again. It is a 12.5 foot ladder, but advertised as a 16 foot reachable ladder. Very deceptive
A great ladder

A roofer came to my home to give an estimate and pulled a telesteps from the back of his truck. He indicated that he had tried many ladders and found none better than the telesteps. I tried his and was sold. It takes up little room when stored, is easy to transport to the work area and very sturdy and safe when set up. Was so pleased with mine that I bought one for my son as a Christmas present.
