Goes down easy. It sounds crunchy when you walk in it although it's gettin less and less. I would buy the felt if I had it to do over.

This is the third time that I bought this product and each time it exceeds my standards. Installing it is super easy and makes for a great barrior between my sub-floor and my laminate floor.

I was replacing some areas of my floating floor which originally had the Roberts premium air guard as the underlayment. To be honest the air guard just isn't worth the money, it offers no special protection against mold as I found out. There is absolutely no noticeable difference both feel exactly the same at half the cost. This underlayment is seriously tough, and works great over a concrete floor, just be prepared to find little white balls all over your house for a week.

The contractor that installed the floor seemed to be happy with this material. It gave the floor a nice finished feel walking around. No extra noise with just a hint of cushion. Time will tell on durability and moisture repellent quality.
