I bought the 24 VAC model from another source and it was DOA. The 110 VAC model from Amazon, however, is exactly what I needed. I figured my chances of getting a good switch would be better with a more common switching requirement, 110 VAC vs. 24 VAC, and it was. The switch does exactly what it is advertised to do. I put it in an electrical box outside and it has done well so far controlling the water to my garden. The spec says it will survive 40 Celsius. I hope that's true because we have hot summers in Texas. So far, so good.
It works for my application.

There are a lot of look-alikes on Amazon for this product. The Uxcell branded one did come with English instructions and English markings. The instructions are hard to follow though so I took off one star. To set this thing for the first time, you have to push the "C" button in with a pin or small screwdriver. It will then start counting the seconds from zero. Push and hold the button with the clock picture next to it and push "D" repeatedly to set the day of the week. Repeat this process letting up on the clock button in between to set the hour ("h" button) and the minutes ("m" button). The rest of the instructions for programming on and off times are pretty clear. I used this to set an
